Description

Honorary doctorate degrees were conferred by Texas Wesleyan College at its commencement exercises. The degrees were awarded to, left to right, Dr. Henry Elbert Stout, Electra Waggoner Biggs, and David B. Foltz. Dr. Stout received a doctorate of humanities, Mrs. Biggs a doctorate of fine arts in creative arts, and Foltz a doctorate in music. Published in the evening edition, May 28, 1951.
