Description
Image shows the aftermath of a construction accident that occurred during the building of the new Fort Worth National Bank Building. A 110-foot boom-lift that was on top of the framework of the building fell, striking the Continental Life building across the street, causing minor damage. Thomas S. Bryne, president of Thomas S. Bryne, Incorporated., the contracting firm for the building, said that the cause of the accident was unknown at the time of this image's publication. Published in the morning edition, May 28, 1951.
