A check for $258 was presented to the chairman of Fort Worth's Cancer Crusade, Lyle Sproles, left, by members of the Alpha Beta chapter of Delta Rho Delta, Mrs. Alma Jo Barnett, center, assistant chairman of the organization, and Mrs. Ouita White, right, social service chairman. This contribution was given to go towards the Cancer Crusade target goal of $38,500. Published in the evening edition, May 24, 1951.
