Image shows unidentified families of the 835th Aviation Engineer Battalion, waiting to welcome their husbands and fathers as they arrive to Wolters Air Force Base from Fort Leonard Wood, Montana. The families had arrived ahead of the troops to find apartments and homes in Mineral Wells. Published in the evening edition, May 23, 1951.
