Description
Nine crewmen were brought to Carswell Air Base. Their B-36 had trouble over Queen Charlotte Sound Mrs. Martin B. Stephens grabbed her tech sergeant husband for a long kiss when he walked from a C-54 transport. "It's the happiest moment of my life", she told a chaplain seconds later as she and her husband walked arm-in-arm. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 18, 1950.
