    Description

It took seven men to unload the 17-foot python from Thailand (called Siam in the associated article), that arrived by air at the Forrest Park Zoo. Harry Jackson, operator of the zoo's reptile exhibit, is shown on the left, holding the snake's head while Zookeeper Hamilton Hittson and five assistants follow behind, carrying the rest of the snake. Published in the morning edition, May 22, 1951.
