Description
This image is part of a series that shows the aftermath of a tornado that flew through Olney, damaging over 100 homes and other buildings, resulting in two deaths. Members of Grand Prairie's Amateur Radio Club drove three radio-equipped cars to Olney to help relay messages from the town. Shown left to right standing are Rex Usher, George Haley, and Ruben Wolff; Charles Lewis and be seen seated in the background while Fred Alexander Kneels at the center of the image. Published in the morning edition, May 20, 1951.
