Description
Joe Torpey, Cat second baseman, slides into third in the seventh inning of game at La Grave Field. Buff Infielder Frank Shofner has the ball, but is too late for the tag. The play started when Torpey stole second, kept running on a overthrow. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 14, 1951.
