Description
A railroad career covering 45 years, all with the same company, has ended in retirement for Eugene Oscar Walker, car accountant for the Fort Worth & Denver City, the Wichita Valley and the Burlington-Rock Island Railways. Walker was not ready to retire but decided to listen to the advice of physicians. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage September 23, 1947, and the condition of his health caused him to relinquish a former post of superintendent of transportation in August.
