Image shows a Texas Christian University (TCU) track runner, Paul Hoeffler, breaking the first tape in the mile run at Triangular Track Meet at TCU. Hoeffler won both the mile and 880 and will be entered in the Southwest Conference meet at College Station. Five unidentified men in crowd to the right of Hoeffler. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 4, 1951.
