Image shows Miss Jo Kelly, left, director of special education for people with disabilities of the Fort Worth Public Schools. She accepts a check for $500 from Mrs. John Lambert, president of the Fort Worth Council of Parents and Teachers. The money is a contribution from local Parent Teacher Association (P-TA) units. Three hundred dollars will be used for equipment and $200 for scholarships for teachers in special education field. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 3, 1951.
