Image shows Ralph McLaughlin, left, Muenster, and Glen Helman, with 865 lb. Hereford steer . The steer was judged grand champion of the annual Gainesville Spring Club show. Ralph McLaughlin is a Muenster vocational agriculture teacher and Glen Helman, Muenster Future Farmers of America (FFA) member. The steer was a Future Farmers project and was exhibited along with 31 other calves. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 20, 1951.
