Description

A foremost attention-getter when Soil conservation Service employees displayed their hobbies was the painting of a 600-pound tiger by Donald V. Shuhart, 1009 Tremont. Shuhart holds the skin of the animal, which he killed in India after the tiger attacked him and permanently injured his leg. In all, 133 exhibits were displayed by 45 persons during the one-day showing. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April 12, 1951.
