Sergeant Edward Sapp of Lake City, Florida, right, pridefully announced the roast pork loin he is holding was "cooked my way", and the cook beside him, Corporal Jack Spear of Boswell, Oklahoma, quipped: "Yeah, your way, the mess sergeant's way and the Army's way". They are in the kitchen of the Air Force basic training center at Eagle Mountain Lake. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 1, 1951.
