    The juvenile "rajah," D. D. Ward, 6, is shown atop Geey, said to be the youngest performing elephant in America. They appear in the Gainesville Community Circus. The mahouts are the boy's mother, Mrs. Betty Ward, and Vern Brewer, trainer. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition March 19, 1951.
