Description
Clouds of black smoke billowed up from the blazing wreckage of the Superfortress B-29 plane which crashed in a field near Indian Oaks, Texas, five miles north of Carswell Air Force Base, while firefighters loosed streams of foam extinguisher. The tail assembly is seen at right.
