Crites are shown at Meacham Field before they boarded a chartered plane with other Fort Worth business men for "Operation Howdy," good will trip to the trans-Pecos and Big Bend areas. It's a Chamber of Commerce project. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition April 24, 1951.
