Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Texas A&M Aggies at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Thousands of football fans traveled from all over to catch the game. Aggie fans virtually took over the downtown area before the game Saturday morning. Left to right are Leonette Hale, Bill Miskimins, and Travis Kirkpatrick. Miss Hale is the cashier at a cafe. She is leaning on a glass counter, wearing a sweater embroidered with her initials. Mr. Miskimins is an Aggie cadet from Wichita Falls, Texas. He is dressed in a military uniform. Mr. Kirkpatrick is an Aggie cadet from Hillsboro, Texas. He is also wearing a military uniform. The glass display on the counter is displaying sweet treats. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition October 18, 1941.
