Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Texas A&M Aggies at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Thousands of football fans traveled from all over to catch the game. Marching in the pregame parade, left to right, are Carmen Hinds and Ramona Lester. They are the mascots for the Fort Worth all-city ROTC Band. Not wanting to play favorites, Carmen, seven, marched with the TCU band while Ramona, eight, paraded with the Aggie band. The girls are dressed in band uniforms, carrying batons and in a marching pose. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 19, 1941.
