Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Texas A&M Aggies at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Thousands of football fans traveled from all over to catch the game. In attendance seated left to right, are County Judge Gilbert Smith and County Commissioner Irvin Sanders who is an A&M alumni. The men, of Anson, Texas, are shading their eyes from the sun's glare. Judge Smith is wearing a striped shirt with a loose necktie and trousers. Mr. Sanders is dressed in a hat, striped shirt, necktie, unbuttoned vest, and trousers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 20, 1941.
