Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Texas A&M Aggies at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Disaster plagued the Frogs in the first quarter of the game when offensive star Kyle Gillespie (40) attempted a tackle. The Aggie tailback Derace Moser (42) is shown lopping sixteen yards to the Frog thirty-seven yard line. Gillespie attempted to stop Moser when an Aggie blocker clipped him. Gillespie fractured his ankle and will miss at least two weeks. The Aggies went on to win 14-0. Background showing the large crowds. Published in The Star-Telegram morning edition, October 19, 1941.
