Description
A football game between the Masonic Home High School and North Side High School is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. The Steers are wearing dark jerseys with striped sleeves while the Masons are in the two-toned jerseys. On the pictured play, both teams are shown scrabbling after the ball. A group of players are colliding in an attempt to gain or maintain possession. Numbers 45 and 53 for the Steers are near the top of the pile. 13 young men are in view on the field, seven of them in the particular scrimmage. All are wearing leather helmets and soiled football jerseys from an advanced period in the game. Photo envelope dated Oct. 17, 1941.
