U.S. Air Officials at Conference Here. Washington officials interested in the midway airport question involving Fort Worth, Arlington and Dallas were Robert H. Hinckley, left, Assistant Secretary of Commerce, and Col. Lucius Clay, assistant to the CAA administrator. Hinckley stopped at the conference here Thursday while on an inspection tour of airport and training projects in the Southwest. Clay received the three cities' agreement on joint sponsorship. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition October 17, 1941.
