Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce oil and gas committee banquet attendees Joe S. Bridwell (left), a Wichita Falls, Texas oil man and Harry C. Wiess (right), president of Humble Oil and Refining Company, Houston, Texas. The banquet was held at the River Crest Country Club for members and visitors of the Interstate Oil Compact Commission. Mr. Bridwell is one of the country's leading cattlemen as well as being one of the largest oil operators among the independent group. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition October 17, 1941.
