Among the guests of honor at the annual dinner given Thursday night at River Crest Country Club by the oil and gas committee of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce were United States Senator Tom Connally (left), who spoke at the dinner, and W. E. McMahon, a Fort Worth oil man and close friend of Senator Connally. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition October 17, 1941.
