Description
Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hutchins of Shreveport Lousiana (left) and W. E. McAnally of the Dean Ranch of Fort Worth, Texas. The trio is shown standing beside each other and smiling slightly for the camera. Hutchins has purchased about 200 registered Herefords in Texas during the past two years. Included were the show herd of Winston Brothers at Snyder and the bull, Domino Return 605th, that sold in the Fort Worth Hereford auction at $3,100. The Louisiana rancher also bought some commercial cattle from the Dean Ranch. In this picture, Mrs. Hutchins is wearing a dark, short-sleeve dress and a small, wrapped hat. She is also holding a purse and a pair of eyeglasses in her arm and hand. Mr. McAnally is wearing a suit with a patterned tie, a brimmed hat and a pair of eyeglasses, while Mr. Hutchins is wearing a pair of trousers, a skewed hat and a pocketed shirt. Behind them a few other people can be seen. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 26, 1941.
