Description
The San Saba County Livestock Show was held for the 4-H Club boys and vocational agricultural students on February 20. Pictured is winner Bill Maxwell and his first prize dry lot baby beef. Bill is a member of the Future Farmers of America. He comes from a little town of Cherokee, San Saba County. He is wearing a button-up shirt, coat, trousers, and cowboy boots. There are people standing on the field and near the bleachers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 25, 1940.
