Description
Some baby beeves caught the eye of the Chuck Wagon Gossiper at the Texas State Fair at Dallas. The second prize lightweight baby beef is shown here. This winning beef is pictured with T. H. Roensch (left), county agent at Roby, and Marion Hughey who fed the animal. The young feeder is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hughey of Roby, Texas. The animal was bred on the Y-6 Ranch owned by Mrs. Fay Young Morton. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 16, 1941.
