Off to complete education. Howard Batis, whose sister, Miss Virginia Batis, kisses him goodbye as he boards the train, left Friday afternoon for Morristown, New Jersey, where he and a seeing eye dog will be trained together for a month. Batis has been blind since he was 13. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition October 11, 1941.
