Coast Guard Recruiting Officer Lamb and his son, John Earl Lamb. John is shown giving his father a handshake as Officer Lamb slaps his sailor cap onto John's head. John is wearing a double-breasted, textured suit and Officer Lamb is wearing his sailor's uniform. The duo appear to be smiling. Officer Lamb decided to enlist his son on his 18th birthday. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 11, 1941.
