Lower Trinity River Valley advocates of the comprehensive improvement program for the river are pictured here. Shown are Forrest L. Park (center), engineer for the Trinity Improvement Association; C. A. Miles (left), Liberty, Texas, treasurer of the Forward Trinity Valley Association, and D. E. Hudgins, Romayor, a director of the Forward Trinity Valley Association (FTVA). All men are dressed professionally and wearing hats. They are standing outside and holding a piece of paper. They had a look at the big lakes on the headwaters of the stream Thursday as they arrived here at the close of the second full day of a resources tour through the river valley.
