The quarterly meeting of the Tarrant County Federation of Christian Churches is being held at Arlington Heights Christian Church. In attendance, left to right, seated, are Mrs. M. E. Sadler, Mrs. H. V. Shank, and Mrs. James C. Wilson. Standing are Mrs. S. W. Hutton and Mrs. William Woods. Mrs. Sadler is the wife of the new Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) president. She is wearing a hat, dark dress, necklace, and a corsage. Mrs. Shank is the federation president. She is wearing a pillbox hat, button-up dress, and a necklace. Mrs. Wilson is president of the All-Church Federation. She is wearing a veiled hat and a dress with a lace collar and extravagant flower shaped buttons. Mrs. Hutton is a former Christian Church Federation president. She is wearing a hat, polka-dot dress, and a daisy corsage. Mrs. Woods, of El Paso, Texas, is vice president of the Texas Council of Church Women. She is wearing a hat and a button-up dress.
