Description
When a bride comes home from a honeymoon and settles down to the household, there are many tricks to learn, as Mrs. Robert David Hawley has found out. She is the former Miss Love Jacobs. Shown here in their apartment at 3560 West Fourth Street, Fort Worth, washing dishes while wearing rubber gloves to preserve her manicure and keep her hands fair. She is holding a dish under a running faucet that is next to a dish rack partially filled with dishes. She is wearing an apron over her dress. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 12 1941.
