Brown County is hosting their fourth annual Polled Hereford sale. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Halbert of Sonora, Texas are seen attending the auction by the Chuck Wagon Gossiper. Mr. Halbert is a member of the firm Halbert & Hoggett. He is dressed in a hat and a three piece, pinstripe suit. Mrs. Halbert is wearing a hat, dress, and a fur coat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 27, 1940.
