Description
Miss Virginia White, center, the number one waitress at Hotel Texas, accepts a trophy from George Putnam, right, on behalf of Henry Love, manager of Hotel Texas. Looking on is Gene Irwin, left. Miss White is wearing a dark colored dress, hat, and a cross necklace. George Putnam is the manager of the Westbrook Hotel and president of the Fort Worth Hotel Men's Association, which sponsored the contest for "most efficient coffee shop waitresses." He is wearing a suit and eyeglasses. Gene Irwin is coffee shop manager of the Westbrook and was chairman of the judging committee. He is wearing a double-breasted suit.
