Basketball game between Texas Wesleyan College and Trinity University. Jack Thornton, Texas Wesleyan College guard, is holding the ball and passed to Cecil McClung who made the basket, widening the Rams' lead to 34-29. Trinity University players are, left to right, Averett Waller, Number 28, Edward Curry (on floor), and Amos Turner, Number 22. Players at far left are unidentified. They are wearing their team uniforms. Spectators are seated on benches on the side of the court. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 22, 1940.
