Highland Hereford Association staged the Eleventh Annual Feeder Sale at Marfa, Texas. The cattlemen from many States attended the sale to bid on the fine cattle or to look them over while meeting friends. Two attendees are pictured here. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith of Marfa, Texas. They are standing in front of a dinning table. Mr. Smith is wearing a suit and tie. Mrs. Smith is wearing a dress. Both are holding trophies won by their cattle. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 7, 1941.
