The Stamp Club officers of J. P. Elder Junior High School are shown meeting in a classroom. They are, left to right, Bobby Whisenant, Richard Roach, W. M. Strickland, Wayne Killough, Brackett Smith, Calvin Foster, and Jerry Trimble. Bobby, reporter, is wearing a short-sleeve, button-up shirt. Richard, W. M., and Wayne are auctioneers. All three boys are dressed in Reserve Officers' Training Corps (R. O. T. C.) uniforms. Brackett, secretary, is wearing a striped short-sleeve shirt and trousers. Calvin, vice president, is dressed in a striped button-up shirt and trousers. Jerry, president, is wearing a short-sleeve collared shirt. The Stamp Club meets every Tuesday to discuss, trade, and auction stamps. Miss Anna McGehee has sponsored the club for nine years.
