Description

The Southern Methodist University Mustangs are facing off against the University of North Texas Mean Green. The rivalry game opens the Mustang season at Ownby Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The Mustangs (dark jerseys) are shown running the ball down the middle of the field. They are setting up blockers out in front of the runner as he attempts to break free. Despite muddy conditions, the game was never much of a contest. The Mustangs won easily 54-0. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
