Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting University of Tulsa Golden Hurricanes. The match-up marks the opening game of the 1941 football season at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Golden Hurricane, Joe Gibson (not shown) fumbled the football, resulting in a scramble. Frog Mike Harter is shown lunging for the ball surrounded by Hurricanes. An unidentified player is on his back and Sax Judd (12) is also in on the scrum. Other Frogs pictured are Nolan Sparks (24) and Billy Blackstone (50). The Frogs went on to win the game 6-0.
