The Baylor Bears are opening their college football season at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. They are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys. Attending the game, left to right, are Hiram Arrant, Mr. Ed Steward, and Mrs. Steward. They are from Abilene, Texas and are cheering on their Cowboys. Mr. Arrant is the executive chairman of the Greater Hardin-Simmons Campaign. He is dressed in a businessman's cowboy hat and a pinstripe single-breasted suit with a light striped dress shirt and checkered tie. Mr. Steward is the president of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. He is wearing a fedora hat, a light-colored dress shirt, a checked tie, a leather belt, a booster pin in his lapel and a single-breasted suit. In his hand is a lit cigar. Mrs. Steward is wearing a felt hat, a shirt dress with a matching tied belt, a wristwatch, wrings on both hands, a cloth handbag, eyeglasses, and a necklace of large glass or plastic beads.
