The Baylor Bears are opening their college football season at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. They are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys. Attending the game, left to right, are H. W. Hart Junior and Mrs. Warren Woodson. Mr. Hart is from Sterling City, Texas, and is a student at Hardin-Simmons. He is dressed in a light-colored collared shirt, dark necktie, zip-front jacket with one breast pocket, and wool lightly-patterned trousers, and is wearing rimless eyeglasses. Mrs. Woodson is the wife of a Cowboy coach. She is wearing a wide-brimmed hat, button-up plaid and solid print short-sleeve blouse, and a skirt, silk stockings, a wrist watch and a wedding ring, and is holding a pencil. She is seated on a pillow with a pillow-ticking cover and a cotton slipcover. Published Star-Telegram Morn. Sep. 29, 1941.
