Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the University of Tulsa at Amon G. Carter Stadium to open the season. The visiting head coach, Henry Frnka, is pictured on the football field. The game featured defense, punts, and not much offense. Frnka's Hurricanes recorded only two first downs and lost the game 6-0. Despite the loss, Frnka expects his offense to bounce back. Coach Frnka is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 28, 1941.
