Description

Highland Hereford Association staged the Eleventh Annual Feeder Sale at Marfa, Texas. The cattlemen from many States attended the sale to bid on the fine cattle or to look them over while meeting friends. Men who judged the feeder cattle offered in the sale this year are pictured here. They are, from left to right, Frank Norrish of Morrison, Illinois; Dave Webel of Pitsfield, Ilinois, and Fred Steiner of Kenton, Ohio. Three men are shown standing in a room, wearing suits and ties. All three are thoroughly familiar with feeder cattle bred in Texas as they have fed such cattle during many years past. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 7, 1941.
