Three attendees at 36th Division reunion in Fort Worth are pictured here. They are B. W. Woodard of Quitman, center, member of the 36th Division, and his two sons, Private (Pvt.) Thelton Woodard, 19, left, and Corporal (Corp.) Weldon Woodard, 21. Three men are standing side by side. Sons are in uniforms. All are wearing hats. Two sons volunteered for service, just as their father did 24 years ago. All three became members of the One Hundred Forty-fourth Infantry. The father was in Company L, the sons are in Company K. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 6, 1941.
