Al Brandt is an ambulance driver in Shannon, Texas. He lost his third race with the stork and this time it was twins who were born as he sped toward the hospital. In this picture, Mr. Brandt is sitting at a desk, leaning his head against his hand. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and sweater. There is a calendar hanging on the wall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 18, 1940.
