Description
Movie star Ginger Rogers, right, is visiting Fort Worth, Texas with her mother Mrs. Lela Rogers. Miss Rogers, who grew up in Fort Worth, spent the day visiting and taking pictures in her childhood home. In 1940, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in her performance of "Kitty Foyle". Mrs. Rogers worked as a theater critic for the Fort Worth Record when Ginger was a young girl. The women are climbing aboard a train to return to California. Miss Rogers is wearing a blazer with a pleated skirt. Mrs. Rogers is wearing a hat, blouse, skirt, and is carrying a fur shawl.
