A sister act figured in issuance Wednesday of the first poll tax exemption in Tarrant County as Miss Helen Stephenson, left, who will be 31 in March of 1942, obtained an exemption from Miss Ola Belle Stephenson, deputy clerk in the tax assessor-collector's office. The sisters live at 2809 Runnels Street. First poll tax receipt was issued to Chester Crunk, 2511 Pearl Street. Wiley P. Foster, Swift & Co. special officers, who had obtained the first poll tax receipt for the past five years, this year will receive an exemption.
