Colorful was the word for floats entered in the parade that opened the nineteenth annual West Texas Fair at Abilene. The patriotic-national defense theme was dominant. In this picture is West Texas Utilities Company's float. There are two girls sitting on the float. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, September 30, 1941.
