Amateur boxers are flocking to Fort Worth, Texas to compete in the Golden Gloves state tournament. Left to right are the brothers from the South Plains - John Buck and Shelby Buck. John is the light-heavyweight entry for Lubbock. He is wearing a collared shirt and a sweater. Shelby is an End on the University of Texas football team. He won the Austin district heavyweight title. He is dressed in a collared shirt, sweater, and a double breasted pinstripe blazer. Shelby is holding boxing shoes and a bottle of some kind of liquid.
